Sunday Stills – Shorelines

We’ve been travelling lately, and seen several shorelines. Today, from Vangsvatnet at Voss.

Voss is well known for skiing and the annual Ekstremsportveko (Extreme Sport Week) with participants from all over the world. About 14500 people lives at Voss and they probably have more olympic and world championship medals pr. person than anywhere else in the world. As of January 2012 athletes from Voss had won 87 gold medals, and at least as many silver and bronzes. Voss is a nice place to visit at any time of year. Today, at one of the local cafes, the table next to me spoke a heady mix of Norwegian, Swedish and English. At the next table over it was Norwegian and Italin. And this is considered the low season. 🙂
