When you’re a moth, what more fitting place is there to die than being squeezed between a pile of high school biology textbooks?
This made my day on Tuesday while doing one of my least favorite tasks as a high school librarian, unpacking and readying piles of new textbooks. This moth fell out from a pile of new biology books, pressed almost flat by the weight of them. I was glad it ended its life among them instead of the math books, that wouldn’t have been half as bizarre.
That is rather bizarre!
