I’m taking a detour from my usual action filled literature to a more quiet story set in Toronto; Six Metres of Pavement by Farzana Doctor. 
Ismail was first introduced to Celia on a warm, late September evening. It was a brief encounter, casual, and easily forgettable. Despite this, each would remember it, even though they wouldn’t see one other again for over a year.
So far it’s very good. It’s also sad, but there seem to be hope for better times ahead. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens.
