I’ve been thinking a lot about this challenge and what it is that says SUMMERTIME to me. There are several answers, but I think the main one is light.
We’re not far enough north to get midnight sun, but we still have a lot of light. The late and very long sunsets and the twilight that last all night is something I really miss when I travel further south in the world during summer.
This picture was taken at 00.22, a little over an hour after sunset at mid-summer. At this time of year we always see a little light from the sun, even at the darkest time of night around 02.30. In this picture some kind of atmospherical thing makes it pretty clear where the sun is behind the horizon.
See how other people solved this challenge at Sunday stills.
It is quite difficult to link to your blog, but I made it

Beautiful shot! Are you north enough to get the lights of the Aurora Borealis?
It happens, but rarely. Usually once or twice every winter.
