We spent a few days in Copenhagen in July and walked around the city a lot. Today’s pictures are both taken at Kastellet.
We walked along the bastions and had a nice view of the inner moat. There were lots of ducks with ducklings around and also some herons.
Walking across the moat on the bridge from the southern entrance to Kastellet we came to St. Albans Anglican Church.
We had a good time in Copenhagen, so I’m sure more photos will turn up at the blog some day.
To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme you must post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken and then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky at that Saturdays Snapshot post at At Home With Books. Photos can be old or new, and can be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. All Alyce asks is that you don’t post random photos that you find online.

Wonderful photos! Great place….!!
Here is my Saturday Snapshot post!
We were in Copenhagen in May and absolutely loved the city.
Your photo of the church is divine.
Sooo beautiful! I would love to visit Copenhagen one day! Your shots are just lovely … so green and lush!
Oh, I love these…and especially enjoy the reflection in the second photo. Awesome!
Here’s MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
How beautiful and peaceful looking!
The photos almost look like paintings – so beautiful! My daughter visited Copenhagen with a school group a couple of years ago and still talks about the great time they had.
Great pics! I love the colors, and would enjoy seeing more of them.
I’d love it if you would stop by and come see my pic for today.
I like how those photos seem like they could be a window back in time. Both are lovely!
Beautiful! Just more places to add to the travel list, thanks for sharing!
Gorgeous shots, and what a pleasure to see some green. (We are still in severe drought).
That first photo looks like a painting. I enjoyed Europe so much; it always felt so much nicer and cleaner and prettier than America. Maybe just because we see our vacation spots through rose-colored glasses.
Here’s my Saturday Snapshot. Happy weekend!
Both the pictures are picturesque! The reflection of the church in the water is very beautiful. Thanks for stopping by!
Your pictures are absolutely superb, especially the church and its reflection in the water
Magical! I love the reflection of St. Albans in the water. I think it was Paulita who commented on someone’s snapshot that she would have to stop reading these; her list of places to visit was just getting too long. I agree! This makes me want to visit Copenhagen.
Beautiful photos! The photography is stunning as is the view!

This looks like a beautiful place to walk around! I hope you’ll share more photos another week.
That first shot is so beautiful and the church looks majestic.
Wow! Wonderful pictures!!!
The photo of the church is awesome… with the perfect reflection. I’d love to visit Copenhagen one day.
I love the light in that first photo of the moat and the reflection of the church in the second. Here’s Mine
Gorgeous photos! I love the sky in the first and the reflection in the second! Here’s my link:http://barbarathehealthynut.blogspot.com/2012/07/gone-hikin.html
I’m really late in visiting your Saturday post, but these shots are fantastic. Love the reflection on the water.
Beautiful pictures, I’d so love to get to Copenhagen one day.
