We’re starting out with some dramatic clouds from the beginning of May.

This picture of the moon with a cloud in front was taken a few weeks ago. These kinds of pictures are hard to get right, and this one definitely has things that could be better. If I’d taken 3 different pictures at different exposures and done some HDR-editing after, I’m sure the result would have been more like our eyes see: features on the moon and a brighter cloud. I have to learn HDR at some point, maybe next winter. Anyway, the picture gives you an idea of what it was like.
