Three pictures this week :-)

Solan did some posing for me again. The light was fairly low, but I didn’t want to use flash, so I ended up with a fairly high ISO and some grain in the photo. Still, I’m very pleased with the result. 1/200s, f/2.2, 60mm, ISO-5000.

The next one is of my new shoes. It’s all a bit of a lovestory really.
This was taken in bright sunlight and I wanted a little more depht, so naturally some of the settings are different. 1/1000s, f/2.8, 60mm, ISO-100

The last one is taken with my phone and has been played around with in a couple of different android photo apps, so no info on settings.

To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme you must post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) have taken and then leave a direct link to your post in the Mister Linky at that Saturdays Snapshot post at At Home With Books. Photos can be old or new, and can be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. All Alyce asks is that you don’t post random photos that you find online.

    • Yes, his pupils were huge, there wasn’t that much light :-)
The shoes are really comfortable, and I’ve been looking for something like them for a long time.

  1. What a cute cat!! I’ve never been a woman who loves shoes(gasp!)unless you can count walking shoes which I have about 6 pairs of, but those are neat! Love the colored swirls!

  2. For an ISO of 5000, Solan doesn’t look grainy at all. Now that I know a little bit about how the settings work taking pictures is much more fun.
