I took this photo of my youngest brother’s ship Straumvik as they were heading home last night. My brother owns two cargo vessels this size, M/S Straumvik and M/S Roslagen. He took over the business when my father retired.
I had some fun with the picture in Flick’s new photo editing tool Aviary. So the picture might look old, but is in fact taken less than 24 hours ago

This conveys are certain mood. Really like this one.
The red boat makes the sea rich. But the sea is not poor. Sunset has a lot of red and sunrise.
I don’t edit my photos that much, a bit of cropping or straightening- but this effect does look cool.
The same here. But, I just got Aviary on Flickr and decided to see what it could do, without knowing if I wanted to use everything. This effect looked good on this picture as it let the red color of the boat stand out, and I wanted that.
