Meet me on Monday – April 2nd. 2012

Acting BalancedMeet me on Monday is a meme were we answer the strangest question from our meme host Acting Balanced. Go over there to see links to other people’s answers.

Here we go:

  1. Did you prank, get pranked or ignore April Fool’s Day?
I ignored it. I hate practical jokes and I’m practically allergic to candid camera type tv-shows. Kristin knows that I have absolutely no sense of humor when it comes to things like that, so she doesn’t even try.
  2. Ramsons paste / Ramsløk from NøringWhat is the most unusual thing you have in your pantry or refrigerator right now?
I don’t think there’s anything particularly unusual in there. Americans might find cultured milk (like youghurt, but drinkable) to be a bit unusual, and maybe the ramsons paste. Most Norwegians would probably think the lemon/lime curd and some of the spices in the spice rack was a bit unusual, but that’s about it.
  3. If you were in the “Miss America” (or another) talent competition, what would your talent be?
I have a passable singing voice, so that might be it. And I can juggle three balls. So maybe juggle while I sang? I’d better put in some practice first though.
  4. What is one thing you miss about being a kid?
Nothing much, I like being an adult.
  5. If you HAD to change your name, what would you change it to?
I don’t know. This is like those favorite questions, and I’m no good with those either.
If you ran all kinds of first names past me I’d probably “nix” most of them and “maybe” a few. Then I’d choose among the “maybes” and never feel like myself again.
If I had to change my last name I’d probably take my mother’s maiden name. I really like the one I have and I decided already as a child to never change it, always finding the idea that I should take some man’s name just because I married him to be totally stupid. If anyone was to change names it had to be him. Now, as Kristin and I are getting closer to our wedding date, we sometimes get asked if we’re changing names, and we are NOT.

  1. Wow you can juggle? I am very impressed! I tried that just once and instantly knew it wasn’t for me, takes way too much coordination! Have a great Monday!

    glosews

  2. The juggling with some practice is a nice skill to have. Then again, if I could juggle my schedule today wouldn’t look so bad. Ooooppps wrong type of juggling.
