I love that you had a “bonus” grandmother too. How wonderful. I find the cat’s eye photo quite disconcerting actually. I love him being the big hunter.

First off, I love that you refer to people as “bonus” this or that. Having lots of extra/extended family is a blessing, and calling them “bonus” seems like a great way to show respect and love.

Nice photos, especially Solan’s eye. He’s definitely a beauty.

What a fun variety of photos! I don’t have a macro lens, but my camera does a decent job with it’s close-up setting. I love the one of the cat’s eye! I’ve always thought that cats’ eyes are beautiful, especially when the sun is shining bright on them.

Macro lenses are wonderful! They really allow you to see things in a new way. Solan has beautiful eyes.

Three cheers for teachers!!! I actually saw a programme recently about Norway’s education system which contained a segment on how it addresses the needs of immigrant students. They asked the kids how they liked classes and they were all positive! I think it was the 60 Minutes programme.

The Macro showed a very nice reflection of the window on Solan’s eye. Your grandmother shows meticulous hands in making the doll’s dresses-dipping in ceramics and painting them.
Congratulations to a fine teacher.
I know of another Norwegian wonder: Magnus Carlsen.

Those are amazing, and such wonderful stories with them! The cat eye and the doll are just beautiful…and the last cat photo is quite funny. Good to know the cat is earning his keep chasing spiders!
